How to reset your account

Whether you've forgotten your master password, or would just like to start from a clean slate, you can reset your Minimalist account to permanently delete all data, from all synced devices, and start over.

Steps to reset your account

There are two different ways to reset your Minimalist account depending on your current level of access.

From inside Minimalist while unlocked:

Select gear icon to open "Settings" screen.
Select "Reset Minimalist".
Select "Reset Minimalist Account".
Follow prompts to reset your account.

From the Minimalist lock screen:

Select "Forgot Password?".
Select "Reset Minimalist Account".
Follow prompts to reset your account.

That's it! Your account has been reset and is ready for you to start over! Please let us know if you run into any trouble at hello@minimalistpassword.com.
